Locks Heath Shopping Village is running a #lovelocks campaign througout February in support of the Breast Cancer Haven charity in Titchfield.
Running between 5-28th February, shoppers can purchase a #lovelocks key and leave a message of love on display – all donations will go to Breast Cancer Haven in Titchfield.
Breast Cancer Haven will be running an information stall on Saturday 10th February between 9.30 and 4pm; pop along and meet Sally and Sarah from the Titchfield centre to find out more about Breast Cancer Haven support services.
Sarah Woods, Breast Cancer Haven Corporate Fundraiser said, “It is fantastic that Locks Heath Shopping Village is running this campaign in support of Breast Cancer Haven. A unique way for the local community to express their love for someone special in their life, the Locks Heath Shopping Village or to support the programme of care that Breast Cancer Haven provides for anyone in the local community that has received a breast cancer diagnosis.”
Breast Cancer Haven is a national charity, offering free emotional support; help with symptom control and practical advice to anyone affected by breast cancer from its network of centres. Everyone is welcomed; whether recently diagnosed, in treatment, or seeking help to lead a healthy life after their treatment has finished.
Since opening Breast Cancer Haven, Wessex, has supported over 800 women. It costs £1,000 for each individual programme of treatment and they rely totally on community and corporate support for funding.
