Event Update: Severe Weather Warning – Saturday, 23rd November
Due to the severe weather warning for Saturday, we are currently in the process of rearranging our event plans to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. While we’re adapting to the forecast, we’re excited to still offer a fantastic experience for our visitors.
What’s Happening:
Entertainers:
Our entertainers will still be joining us from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, 23rd November. They’ll be performing undercover and making their way around the retailers, ensuring that the fun continues despite the weather. There will be no public Christmas light switch on, we have turned all the Christmas lights on today.
Food Vendors:
We’re happy to confirm that our food vendors, who will be trading from trailers, are still set to serve delicious food and drinks throughout the day. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a tasty meal, we’ve got you covered!
Retailers:
Our amazing local retailers will still be open as usual, ready to welcome you with a variety of goods and great service. They’ve prepared for a busy weekend, so please continue to support them and explore the unique shops in the area.
What’s Changed:
Vendors Selling from Gazebos:
Unfortunately, due to the high winds expected, we have had to cancel the vendors who were scheduled to sell from gazebos. While we know this is disappointing, the safety of our vendors and visitors is our top priority. We could not accommodate them anywhere else within the Centre and have offered them to attend other dates which unfortunately most are fully booked.
We encourage you to take advantage of the shopping and dining options, and of course, enjoy the entertainment that’s still currently on offer Saturday 23rd!
We understand that weather disruptions can be frustrating, but we’re doing everything we can to keep the event enjoyable and safe. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you on Saturday to support local shops, enjoy the entertainment, and indulge in some great food!
